Return and Refund Policy

  • A Customer can return a book if he is not satisfied with the condition and quality of book.
  • A Customer need to inform within 24 Hours of delivery if he wants to return the book, after that he cannot return the book and get eligible of refund.
  • A return and refund will be initiated, under these condition, If a customer receives:-
    • Wrong product
    • Damaged product received
    • Empty Parcel
  • A return and refund request will not be initiated under these condition:-
    • If books are altered/tempered/used/having missing pages or any other damages due to misuse of book by Buyer.
    • If product is returned without original packaging (price tags/labels).
    • For damaged/missing product that is reported after 24 hours of the delivery.
  • A return request will be reviewed by Sahitya Vimarsh then accordingly approved or rejected.
  • After approval, Sahitya Vimarsh will send the updates via email within 24 Hours to customer and pickup of the product will be arranged through our courier partners. Follow the below points in this case:-
    • Please keep the product ready. Kindly ensure proper packaging to avoid any damage during transit.
    • Please take care of the following points, while packing your product for pickup
      • Product should not be used/altered/tampered
      • Mention order number on the box
      • Do not seal the box
      • Mention the order Number/Delivery Address on the package, before handing over the packet to our pickup executive
      • Keep the courier companies receipt for tracking.
    • If our reverse pickup service is not available on your address, we will ask you to dispatch the product by Indian Post, which charges will be reimbursed by
    • We will send you an email with address; you have to post the return package by yourself to that address.
  • After the product is received, it will be verified against Customer claim and accordingly, replacement or refund is initiated.
  • The remittance of refund amount will take 6-7 business day after approval of refund process in customer bank account.
  • Please note that replacement would depend upon the stock availability with the respective merchant.
  • After we receive returned item back, order refund process may take 6-7 business days to transfer amount to customer bank account.
  • Delivery charges will not be returned back and does not included in refunds, “only returned item” total amount will be refunded to the bank account !

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • A customer can cancel his order at any time before his order dispatched.
  • Sahitya Vimarsh have the rights reserved to cancel an order in below conditions:-
    • If product is out of stock or is discontinued
    • Restrictions on the number of products you can order, as per Terms & Conditions of any Offer/Discount
    • Inaccuracies or errors in pricing information
    • Payment fraud suspicion by our Credit & Fraud Avoidance Department
    • Incorrect or Incomplete Buyer’s Address
    • Non serviceability of Buyer’s address by our courier partners

Sahitya Vimarsh will inform customer about the cancellation of his order and share details if partial order is cancelled or whole.

  • Once the resolution is set for refund, Sahtiya Vimarsh will soon move ahead with the refund. Refund will be done by the same method Sahitya Vimarsh received the payment in.
  • In case of refunds for orders with online options as mode of payment (Debit Cards, Credit Cards), 2% of the total amount will be deducted and rest refunded to the account from which the payment was made.
  • The remittance of refund amount will take 6-7 business day after approval of refund process in customer bank account.
  • Customer can cancel the part of a Single order.
